We have a wide range of Mora clocks from the 17th, 18th and even the 19th century - all sourced from Sweden. We have a multitude of different colours of clocks, from blues to greens, whites and greys. Some tall at over 2.1m and some much shorter.

An array of different budgets are catered for with prices starting at £500 and going up to £3,600 for the most rare of Mora Clock.

These clocks are from different regions of Sweden and exhibit the different characteristics of these regions. For example out tall Mora Clock comes from Northern Sweden where tall and thin Mora Clocks were the trend. Moving South to the areas around Stockholm we have a much shorter Mora Clock which is characterised by more curves.

The clock mechanisms inside each Mora Clock vary quiet markedly. Some of the mechanisms are very fine where a glass viewing window has been incorporated into the side of the hood to view the clock mechanism when it is working. Another Mora Clock may have a very basic mechanism that is characterised by those clocks made in the Dalarana province, in particular in and around Mora which gave its name to this style of clocks. The Mora Clock from the 19th century however is more likely to contain a more modern movement, still with a weight driven pendulum but also more reliable. These mechanisms tend to chime on the hour and the half hour whilst the older mechanisms tend to chime only on the hour.
